Are you excited about making a difference to children’s lives?

Do you want to work in a vibrant, multi-ethnic Trust with a strong ethos of high expectations and inclusive practice?

Children First Academy Trust was created in April 2019 and consists of six local primary schools, all of whom work together to improve the aspirations and outcomes for children in Edmonton.

In 2023 all our schools were graded good or outstanding by Ofsted putting us in a great place to offer the very best education for our pupils.

We are looking for teachers for our schools who reflect the Trust values by:

  • Having high aspirations for all the children and staff
  • Working with integrity and with a clear moral purpose to improve the life chances of the children
  • Being resilient and creating a culture of ‘Children First’

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Able to model excellent teaching and behaviour management (appropriate to their level of experience)
  • Multi-faceted in their teaching approach and delivery
  • Motivated, inspirational and hard working
  • Committed to promoting high standards
  • Team players who promote positive behaviour across the school
  • Willing to contribute to the life of the school and its community

In return we offer:

  • Senior leaders who value and support the staff teams and encourage an appropriate work-life balance.
  • Lively and enquiring children.
  • Supportive, collaborative teams across our schools
  • Local government pension scheme with generous employer contribution.
  • An employee benefits scheme, including a cycle to work scheme.
  • An employee assistance programme.
  • The opportunity to grow with us.
  • Commitment to your professional development.

We are recruiting centrally and we will match you to the right school for you, once we have met you and as our vacancies become clear.

As an employer we are committed to our staff and actively promote their professional development and future career path. Being part of the Children First Academy Trust will also provide exciting opportunities for staff development.

We welcome informal visits to any of our schools and these can be arranged through our HR manager
