Deputy Headteacher at Henry Maynard Primary School with responsibility for Inclusion

I have been teaching for 28 years and worked as an Assistant Head for inclusion across two Local Authorities for the last 17 years, 12 of those in Waltham Forest. I am the SENCO and DSL and have led on attendance, behaviour and pupils experiencing disadvantage. I am passionate about building a school community where all children feel included and will thrive.

Obtained the SENCO accreditation (NASCO) through Middlesex University in 2011.

Postgraduate certificate specific learning difficulties (DYSLEXIA) (AMBDA) through the Institute of Education in 2013.

NPQSL completed in 2024

Undertaken advanced safeguarding training and worked closely with the virtual school on projects to support Looked After and Adopted Children in school.
