Kate has spent twenty years as a Head of Science and Senior Leader in London schools and internationally. Kate has held various senior roles from pastoral care to curriculum and leadership development. Kate completed a Masters in Educational Leadership in 2013, and has led leadership development programmes in schools, across borough-wide programmes and on national and international research and teacher development programmes. Kate works part time at the Centre for Educational Leadership at UCLs Institute of Education and spends the rest of the week working with schools developing practice.

At the whole school level Kate has particular expertise in developing assessment policy and practice; and at the department level, particularly in STEM subjects, supporting leadership development, curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practice.
