Advanced Skills Teacher (AST) with 21 years of experience ranging from classroom teaching to senior leadership responsibilities, in primary, secondary and international school settings. Also worked for the Specialist Schools and Academy Trust (SSAT) as an assessor for ‘The Cultural Diversity Quality Standard Award’. As part of this, supported schools to meet the required level to achieve the quality standard. Committed to achieving high standards of learning for all children and believes that teachers play a vital role in providing an inclusive environment for children to grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Has a PG Cert. in Bilingualism and a PG. Cert. in Vulnerable Learners and Inclusion. Gained the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators (NASENCo). Became a Dyslexia Specialist Teacher with the UK-based charity Dyslexia Matters. Also enrolled on the Level 7 Dyslexia Assessors Course.
