Serving as Headteacher at a Haringey specialist school for pupils aged 5-19 with a diagnosis of autism. Has worked in the field of SEND for over 20 years. Opened two successful special schools meeting the needs of autistic learners. Worked on Autism Accreditation and Challenge Partner review teams; member of the Haringey Model for Change and Autism Strategy groups. Sits on the boards for autism accreditation and HEP. Co-chairs the Pan-London Autism School Network Research group.

Provides school improvement services to special schools and mainstream schools, delivering training locally and internationally. Experience in the SEND field covers the full range of learners; trained in a range of SEND-focused approaches and strategies to support curriculum access, behaviour and communication.
