Over 30 years of experience working in Primary and Early Years education in different London boroughs. Recently retired Headteacher with seventeen and a half years of successful leadership in Haringey. Spent ten years as an Advisory Teacher and then as an Early Years Adviser.

Co-edited Planning for Progress (an Early Years Curriculum Framework), Starting Points (Guidance for assessment during the Foundation Stage), and Opening the Garden Gate (Guidance on Outdoor Learning). Holds an MA in Early Years education, a Diploma in Performance Coaching, and an interest in leadership, partnership working, and the creation and sustaining of rich learning environments.
