Level 2 Award for Forest School Assistants
This qualification is designed to enable learners to develop an understanding of the principles and ethos of Forest School. It will prepare learners for further study and employment in the outdoors. It is designed to meet the needs of school and college staff, youth workers, parent helpers, students, and others in providing preparation for further development and study to becoming a Forest School Leader.
It will earn the learner 7 credits towards the 18 credits needed to become a Forest School Leader if the progression is within 18 months of starting the course. Tranfer onto the level 3 course can be arranged by Wild about our Woods
This course is experiential and participants will learn many practical skills and activities that they can use with children thereafter.
Forest School leaders from Haringey will share their experiences and tips to put you on track for the start of your forest school journey.
