Peer Review
Peer review has been part of the evaluation and school improvement landscape for a number of years. An OECD report in 2013 recommended that in systems where schools have high levels of autonomy that peer learning among schools can prevent an introspective and defensive culture from forming.
Commercial and structured models of peer review have, over time, emerged. Examples include, Challenge Partners and SPP which offer a structured, facilitated and accredited approach alongside more informal and locally grown approaches with varying degrees of efficacy. HEP has drawn from all the research and evidence to provide a range Peer Review opportunities for member schools in all phases to engage with.
