Welcome to Seven Sisters Primary School.  Strong relationships underpin everything we do here. As a Class Teacher you will be working as part of our team to create outstanding memories for our wonderful children. We are looking for someone who truly believes in helping all children to achieve their full potential!

Seven Sisters Primary School was graded as ‘good’ at our last Ofsted Inspection in March 2019. Our school has incredibly well behaved children with fantastic attitudes to learning. We have a clear vision for school improvement and successful strategies for making things happen!

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join our wonderful team. A passion for teaching and an understanding of the importance of play, attachment and trauma-informed practice are key. Collaboration within a team environment is also essential, as you’ll work closely with colleagues to deliver quality education and support children’s holistic development. In this role, you will be responsible for providing experiences which build on children’s existing knowledge and understanding in order to challenge, stimulate and extend their learning and development. You will encourage children’s independence, critical thinking and decision-making, whilst supporting them to learn through trial and error. Furthermore, you will work within a dedicated team of professionals.

We are looking for a teacher with QTS who can:

  • Ensure pupils make outstanding progress.
  • Inspire, motivate, have energy, compassion and imagination.
  • Be enthusiastic and flexible.
  • Make learning inclusive and effective.
  • Be compassionate and caring with an understanding of children with SEN and of children with attachment difficulties and trauma.
  • Understand that behaviour is communication.

What we can offer you

  • A creative and supportive environment, something that we are really proud of.
  • Strong line management, supportive staff and induction programme.
  • Happy, engaged, confident and enthusiastic pupils with bright and enquiring minds.
  • Continuous professional development.
  • A clean spacious well-kept building and classrooms.
  • Access to a 24/7 employee assistance programme
  • Cycle and tech scheme.
  • Free car parking in our car park.

Seven Sisters Primary is a truly unique place to be and it is a privilege to work with our amazing community. We do hope that you come and see it for yourself. Your visit to our school will show you that and our children will also tell you the same too! They are so proud of their achievements.

We are extremely proud of our children and the hardworking, dedicated team of professionals working at Seven Sisters Primary. We know we are really making a difference to the children and families in our community and that we are giving them the life chances they deserve.
