This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident Communications Officer to be part of a small, dedicated and professional Curriculum Resources team. You will take responsibility for the promotion of the whole school communications strategy through a range of digital, web based, print and display based strategies.

The Officer will link directly with our diverse community including pupils, parents and carers, staff, the School Governors, the local authority and the press.

You will be confident and competent in knowledge of and experience in the use of digital platforms, print and graphics, web design, copywriting, editing and project management.

The successful candidate will also support all parts of the school in meeting its short and longer term objectives.

The Governors are looking for a highly skilled practitioner with experience of teaching children with special needs and a passion for promoting lifelong learning so that our children are equipped to lead the lives they wish to live into adulthood.

  • Have a clear focus on achievement, progress and improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs and know what factors allows these children to progress.
  • Be committed to inclusion and to enabling all pupils to succeed in all areas of their educational experiences in school and out in the wider community
  • Be committed to participating in Continuous Professional Development.
