Are you experienced in teaching 3 – 11 year olds with Special Educational Needs, skilled in teaching EAL children, and a pro-active team player?

This post is for an experienced teacher to work full time in our school.  Your experience of successful SEN teaching will enable you to give class teachers ideas for differentiation and targeted support in class.  You will take a lead role in the Inclusion team reporting to the Assistant Headteacher/SENDCo who has overall responsibility for Special Needs.

The Main duties will include:

  • Supporting and modeling effective differentiation with teaching teams
  • Planning and preparation of resources to support pupils with additional needs in the classroom
  • Liaising with parents, external agencies and other professionals

We are a 3 form entry schools in a culturally diverse area with pupils who are responsive to the activities we provide in our creative curriculum.  We actively reach out to parents encouraging their engagement with the school.

Rowland Hill Nursery School and Children’s Centre is seeking an Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. Working with the Head Teacher, you will set the vision for the future of the school and children’s centre, ensuring we have the right people and plans in place to meet the needs of the children and families in our local community.

If you are passionate about Early Years and an outstanding teacher this could be the new challenge you have been looking for. We are not necessary looking for someone with years of experience but someone who has some leadership experience and is keen to grow with our school.
