Meet the Team

Premila Shakespeare is a Finance Officer at Haringey Education Partnership (HEP), where she is responsible for managing the operational needs of the business. She works with school business managers and finance teams, helping schools to understand HEP’s offer, pricing and billing.

Premila has eight years’ experience working in schools finance and multi-academy and local authority-maintained schools in Haringey and Enfield, as well as time working for the Bi-Borough schools finance team at Westminster City Council. Before that, she worked for eleven years as an Arts Officer delivering community, schools and youth arts projects for London Borough of Enfield, Luton Borough Council and The Culture Trust, Luton. With over 20 years working within or with schools, she is passionate about helping HEP to make a difference to the children our schools serve.

At HEP, Premila is responsible for school billing and processing supplier payments. She is also the first point of contact for any finance account or invoicing queries.

Premila brings her interest in interpreting financial information to support decision making within HEP. She is also particularly interested in how we communicate to School Business Managers about our offer and pricing. With this in mind, she created ‘HEP Membership – your questions answered’ for Primaries and Secondaries. This is a summary leaflet, explaining HEP’s offer, pricing and answering Frequently Asked Questions, which was first sent out to SBMs in July 2024. This continues to be updated to reflect our offer as it evolves and we innovate and is now sent out twice yearly to both SBMs & Head Teachers.
