On 23 April 2026, the Haringey education community will gather at LAET for the annual Racial Equity Conference.

Hosted in partnership between Haringey Council and Haringey Education Partnership, Haringey Racial Equity Conference has been an essential event for educationalists across London for a decade. The theme of the 2026 conference is ‘From Commitment to Action: Sharing practice, raising outcomes.’

The conference features a powerful lineup of keynotes and workshops aimed at transforming institutional commitment into measurable success for our students.

The keynote speakers, Dr Patrick Roach CBE and Evelyn Forde MBE, will focus on tackling the underachievement of Black and Black Caribbean children.

The conference will also play host to a series of workshops that will cover a wide range of practical approaches to support your students and school organisations to tackle racial equity gaps head-on.
